We are located on Hutchinson Island at 890 NE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34996. 

The Coastal Center is Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

Please note, we are an outdoor facility and inclement weather may affect hours of operation and program times.

Our visitor's center, pavilions, and all of our boardwalks and walkways are ADA compliant. However, our Nature Trail consists of both boardwalks and natural terrain walkways.

Memberships are available for both individuals and families, at various levels of giving. Please visit our membership page for all the details.

From time to time, coupons to the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center are featured in various publications. We do offer a military discount for service men and women. As a tangible expression of our appreciation for their service, all active or retired military members, as well as Coast Guard and National Guard or Reservists will receive $2 off of their admission

Yes, we offer field trips and outreach visits for every grade level. Our programs meet the New Generation Florida State Standards for every grade level. For more information, please visit our School Groups Programs.

We do not have food or drink concessions available. We are located next door to Publix supermarket and have covered picnic tables available for visitors. We do ask that all food is consumed in the designated picnic table area and trash is discarded in the proper receptacles in order to protect our marine life residents' environment.

Our Ocean EcoCenter and the Frances Langford Visitor's Center are located indoors, and our Stingray, Sea Turtle and Sea Star pavilions are covered. However, the lagoon, nature trail, and connecting pathways are outdoors and uncovered. Therefore, some areas of the Coastal Center are weather permitting.

The full length of the Nature Trail is one mile. However, there is a short trail path that is 1/3 of a mile in length.

Yes, all major credit cards are accepted at our Visitor's Center and Gift Shop.
