Low Sensory Hour

Join us for a special Sensory Hour at the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center, designed exclusively for neurodiverse individuals and their families who may find traditional visiting hours overwhelming.

This early-access event provides a calm, welcoming environment with:

• No loud music or microphone use
• Dimmed lights and reduced noise levels
• Quiet spaces for breaks or self-regulation
• Access to all exhibits and hands-on sensory activities>

Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive experience where every guest can explore and enjoy the wonders of Florida’s coastal ecosystems at their own pace.
