Florida Oceanographic Society in conjunction with the Marine Resources Council has volunteer water quality monitors throughout the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Lucie River. Citizen scientists monitor water quality weekly, increasing the quantity of data collected in the region. Volunteers have been measuring and recording water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, and water clarity since 1998. Water quality reports are posted here on Thursday of each week and can be found by date.
