Join us for Coastal Discovery Summer Camp and Specialty Immersion Weeks at Florida Oceanographic

Florida Oceanographic Society is pleased to announce our 2017 Summer Programs.
Saltwater Fishing 101
Get reeled into fishing with this introductory course. Learn about fish biology and conservation as well as fishing tackle, methods, and techniques. Utilize what you learn by wade and dock fishing in our local waters. All rods, reels, and gear provided.
Ages 12-14 | 8am-2pm | July 17-21
Expedition: Florida
Explore the wilds of Florida and the fascinating ecosystems that make our state unique. Participants will tromp through our mangrove swamp, snorkel Bathtub Reef Beach, and much more as they learn about the plants and animals that call these places home.
Ages 12-14 | 8am-2pm | July 24-28

   June 12-16 - Island Explorers for Ages 5-7

   July 10-14 - Snorkeling and Reef ID 101 for Ages 13-16
   July 31-August 4 - Junior Explorers for Ages 5-6

Scholarship Applications Now Available for Select Weeks

Through the generosity of our donors, we are happy to announce Florida Oceanographic is accepting applications for the following weeks:
     July 17-21
     July 24-28
These scholarships are designed for families whose financial position may make it difficult for their children to attend our summer programs. The scholarships will cover one half of the non-member cost of the selected summer session. There are no guarantees that a submission will result in a scholarship.
