Explore Florida’s coast up close on a Guided Beach Walk with Florida Oceanographic Society. Led by our Education Department, this hands-on coastal experience invites you to discover the plants, animals, and ecosystems found along Florida’s beaches. Learn how ocean waves, tides, and geology shape our shorelines and dunes, and spot shells, tracks, and other hidden treasures in this dynamic coastal habitat.
Designed for all ages, our guided beach walks offer a fun, educational way to connect with nature, learn about Florida’s coastal ecosystems, and gain a deeper appreciation for the environment we work to protect.
