World Ocean Day Beach Cleanup - FULL

About the Event

This event is currently full.

Celebrate World Oceans Day with a beach cleanup at Jensen Beach. Join us on Tuesday, June 8th from 9:30am - 10:30am as we put our stewardship into action. Meeting location is the main boardwalk.

Dress appropriately for the beach and make sure to bring a reusable water bottle. We will have buckets, gloves and grabbers, but feel free to bring your own. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Participants ages 16-17 need to have signed FOS waivers if participating without a parent/guardian. Contact Rosemary at rbadger@floridaocean.org to get these waivers emailed.

  • Bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle
  • Encourage participants to bring their own gloves, buckets and grabbers, however we will have sanitized supplies on hand
  • Hand sanitizer will be available
  • Comfortable clothing for the beach
  • Shoes must remain on at all times

We require that unvaccinated people continue all appropriate safety precautions, including wearing facial coverings and physically distancing, to protect themselves and others. Proof of vaccination is not required, but we ask for responsible and respectful cooperation with this revised policy. We also ask that you continue to exercise good judgement by limiting your exposure to others if you are feeling unwell in any way or think that you may have been exposed to COVID-19 or any other infectious illness.

Registration closes on Monday, June 7th, at 3:15pm or when full.
