Beach Cleanup and Seagrass Fragment Collection

About the Event

Registration for this event is closed.  Check back for future events.

Bring the kids and join us as we put our stewardship into action by cleaning up Stuart Beach from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20. Please meet us at Stuart Beach at the south end of the parking lot.

Dr. Katie Tiling of our research department will discuss our seagrass restoration program and how volunteers who walk the beach can look for seagrass fragments  to help our seagrass restoration program.

Afterwards, stop by the Coastal Center to learn more about local marine life and interact with our conservation ambassadors!

Minimum age to participate in this event is 6 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present.
