Event Space Inquiry

Thank you for your interest in hosting your event at the Coastal Center. By choosing our venue, you are helping to further Florida Oceanographic’s mission of inspiring environmental stewardship.

Florida Oceanographic’s Ocean EcoCenter provides a unique venue to host your next special event, big or small! Overlooking our 750,000 gallon Gamefish Lagoon, the 3rd floor, open-air Ocean Deck is the perfect setting for any gathering! The Ocean EcoCenter also has two indoor spaces, the Ocean Room and the Exploration Lab, available for private event use.

 

Event Space Options:

  • Ocean Deck – 3rd floor, open-air space. Can accommodate up to 200 people, based on event type and setup.  Check out the video tour
  • Exploration Lab - 1st floor classroom. Great for conferences, workshops or smaller events requiring A/V capabilities. Accommodates up to 75 people, based on layout.
  • Ocean & Lagoon Rooms – 2nd floor meeting suite. Accommodates up to 36 people.

*Please note that these spaces cannot accommodate children's parties. Please see our Birthday Party page for options. 

In an effort to keep our events environmentally-friendly, guests are encouraged to choose reusable or sustainable products for food, beverages and decorations and we restrict items such as balloons and straws.
