Toxic algae blooms reported in Port Mayaca

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported a 'moderate' level of toxic algae blooms in Martin County over the weekend.

"It gets worse, it seems, like every year during this time of year we see this bloom happening," Mark Perry, the executive director of Florida Oceanographic Society in Martin County, told WPBF 25 News.
