Mangroves are found worldwide in tropical to subtropical regions and perform numerous ecosystem services. Despite their importance, mangroves are threatened globally due to land use change and global climate change factors. Florida Oceanographic monitors the productivity of natural mangrove populations in the Indian River Lagoon. These long-term biotic measurements, coupled with abiotic measurements (e.g. soil, water, temperature), allow us to evaluate the health and resilience of mangroves in the Indian River Lagoon.
