Our visitor's center, pavilions, and all of our boardwalks and walkways are ADA compliant. However, our Nature Trail consists of both boardwalks and natural terrain walkways.
Memberships are available for both individuals and families, at various levels of giving. Please visit our Member page for all the details.
From time to time, coupons to Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center are featured in various publications. We do offer a military discount for service men and women. As a tangible expression of our appreciation for their service, all active or retired military members, as well as Coast Guard and National Guard or Reservists will receive complimentary admission by show of their military ID.
Drink vending machines are available near the picnic tables, but no food concessions are sold on site. We are located next door to Publix supermarket and have covered picnic tables available for visitors. We do ask that all food is consumed in the designated picnic table area and trash is discarded in the proper receptacles in order to protect our marine life residents' environment.
Our Visitor's Center and Exhibit Hall are located indoors, and our Stingray and Sea Star pavilions are covered with fans and misters. However, the lagoon, nature trail, and connecting pathways are outdoors and uncovered. Therefore, some areas of the Coastal Center are weather permitting.
The full length of the Nature Trail is one mile. However, there is a short trail path that is 1/3 of a mile in length.
