Ais on the Lagoon

When: Sunday, September 30th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Check in starts at 7:30 a.m.)
Where: We will be launching from the U.S. Sailing Center at 1955 NE Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach 
Join us for a free 4.5 mile round-trip paddle across the Indian River Lagoon! Start at the U.S. Sailing Center and stop along the shoreline of the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center where you'll learn about the Ais Indians who inhabited our area centuries ago. 
Enjoy a breakfast of grits and clams followed by a short historical presentation by Indian Riverkeeper, Marty Baum. 
Ais on the Lagoon is a free event, but prior registration is required.  Please RSVP below.

** This event is a "bring your own canoe, kayak or paddleboard" event. Paddlecraft will not be provided. If you don't have a paddlecraft, there will be a limited number of kayaks available for rental directly through the U.S. Sailing Center. In addition to RSVPing below, kayak rental reservations must be made in advance through the U.S. Sailing Center. To reserve a kayak for the event, please call 772-334-8085. **
